Many faithful Saints in Africa have strong business ideas but lack access to the support, resources, and community needed to bring them to life. That’s where Project Hamba comes in. We believe business is a powerful tool for service and self-reliance, and that faith and enterprise can work hand in hand.
Many of our young team members are returned missionaries and BYU Pathway students, preparing to lead both in the Church, in their families, and in the world. Project Hamba gives them the opportunity to gain real-world experience as they serve you, fellow members of the Church, by helping your business succeed. Our bright young adults, many returned missionaries, are mentored by professionals who volunteer their time to guide, teach, and deliver real marketing and consulting services to Latter-day Saint small business owners.
At the same time, we work to unite Church members across Africa who are striving for financial stability by helping them promote and sell their products in today’s digital world through websites and social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp. Young future leaders operate Project Hamba for YOU, our fellow members, and Saints, empowering self-reliance, leadership, and business success across Africa.
